On February 18, during the presentation of the updated edition of Metropolitan Andrey Sheptytsky’s pastoral letter Our Statehood. How to Build Our Own Home at the Sheptytsky Center of the Ukrainian Catholic University, Archbishop and Metropolitan of Lviv Ihor presented Zinovii Kozytskyi with the Order of Saint George the Great Martyr.

As noted by Father Yustin Boiko, Syncellus for Monastic Affairs of the Lviv Archeparchy of the Ukrainian Greek Catholic Church, Mr. Kozytskyi is one of the leading benefactors supporting historical research dedicated to the legacy of Metropolitan Andrey within the Lviv Archeparchy. His contribution is aimed at preserving the memory and teachings of the Metropolitan for the Church and the Ukrainian people.

The award recognizes Mr. Kozytskyi’s outstanding service in supporting church history as well as the spiritual and cultural heritage of Metropolitan Andrey.
